Boho Hobo Crushed Velvet Coat

Channeling a bit of Jimi Hendrix, Steven Tyler and Stevie Nicks...Rock On! lol

I was happy to receive this wonderful coat from Boho Hobo.  The coat is a hunt gift for Where is the Concert Hunt.  Immediately I thought Rock-N-Roll.  Added the top, pants & belt from the Mayden Couture hunt gift as well as some odds and ends from my inventory.  The hunt ends Feb 3...so you still have time to get these.

I also have to say that Catwa has some great styles for this era and was thrilled to find the headbands that are sold seperately and have several options to choose from with...drum roll.....texture change beads.  I get so excited over options. lol

Azoury Meli Melo

You know those old photos from the 60-70s that have that yellow/green cast with the white border...that's what I was trying to recreate for this photo.  I remember my mother wearing something similar to Azoury's Meli Melo when I was young...as we walked along the piers in Corpus Christi, TX.  So I put on accessories and hairstyle that my mother wore in those days and headed for the beach. :)

I really love this outfit...I'm a big fan of crochet, crazy for polka dots and the sandals have a great straw/wicker heel.  A great outfit to take stroll in on a wonderful sunny day.

I was thrilled to get the new Mana Miranda Wedge shoe from Nardcotix!  I quickly got a mix and match going to wear with them.  I had seen a picture of the Molichino Alan coat and knew it was good start to go with the shoes...and the rest evolved for a comfy look for an outdoor shopping trip. :)  I love shopping at The Nest sim...if you haven't been its one stop shopping for all the best home and garden stores.

I was so happy to see 2 of my fav furniture stores at Collabor88 this past weekend.  I was jumping up and down when I saw Lisp's shabby piano and Cheeky Pea's reading corner.  I love comfy spaces to just chill and listen to music.  The reading corner comes with more than you see here...the piano is sold in a pack with several colors in a shabby style and traditional wood styles..you must go and see the other options available.   Can't beat 88L for the full sets.
